Summary

People for Education is an independent, charitable organization working to support and advance public education through research, policy, public engagement. As the member of their communications team, I managed the design and dissemination of reports, created content for advocacy and education, and was creative director for events.

This report received increased media coverage, and PFE’s advocacy along with that of like-minded organizations gained the attention of Ontario’s Minister of Education, Stephen Lecce. Ultimately, it supported the province’s decision to increase funding for mental health and learning in Ontario Schools. View some of the media features below.
